Wedding Receptions
We view the wedding reception as two events that flow together: the formal dinner and the dance party. Our mission is to provide an atmosphere of dignity
that the formal event deserve, and follow with a great, fun dance party.
Help with planning? — We typically use a questionnaire that covers a wide range of questions so that you can tell us exactly what you want done, when and
how. You can call or email us anytime, with any question. We will be happy to meet with you to discuss any and every aspect of our service.
We pride ourself on being the most prepared vendor in our field! It takes just a little time on your part, but we will spend hours prior to your event
to make sure that we have everything “just right.”
We will start dinner/cocktail music as your guests begin to arrive.
Your first big moment! Your grand introduction with special music just for you. We can use one song or one song per person or anything in between. We can read a brief bio of each introductee, or we can make this as dignified and formal as you like.
What is a Great Disc Jockey really worth?
Your choice of entertainer is often the last service chosen, after much of the budget is spent on a venue, food and clothing. This “backward planning”
often forces Brides and Party Planners to shop for the cheapest possible price. Many people will pay far more for a cake, flowers, or a veggie platter
than they will for the most crucial ingredient of a party – the entertainment. The DJ you select will be taking on the responsibility of over 80%
of the success of your party and often gets paid less than 3% of the total budget (based on the average Wedding), yet if the DJ is a poor performer or
worse, doesn't show up, your entire investment is wasted, not just that 3%.
Take a look at these statistics:
• 72% of all brides said they would have spent more time choosing their reception entertainment
• Almost 100% say they would have spent more of their budget on the entertainment
• When asked, 81% of guests say the thing they remember most about a wedding is the entertainment
• During wedding planning, Brides say their highest priority is their attire, followed by the reception site and caterer – reception entertainment is
among the least of their priorities. Within one week after their reception, 78% of Brides said they would have made the entertainment their highest priority.
